Salary Range: $16.00+ depending on experience and license type
Job Description:
The concrete pump operator drives our pump to the job and sets up and operates the equipment required to complete the job.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education : High School or Higher
Experience: Company willing to train if applicant has skills listed below
Availability: Hours vary- Work is scheduled on an on-call basis (3am to 7pm)
Skills & Competencies:
-NC Driver’s License
-Proficient in driving a straight drive car/truck
-No Felony(s)
-Drug Free Company- subject to random drug testing
-Job requires some physical labor
- Boom pump operator (requires CDL)
- Helper
- Line pump operator
- Diesel Mechanic
Job Qualifications Include:
Full-time
Duties:
· Assist and learn from the operator about pumping concrete.
-Keep truck, pump, hoses, and clamps clean and in safe working condition.
· Evaluate the site conditions and set-up the truck appropriately.
· Uses and cares for tools and equipment associated with and including the concrete pump and truck.
. Will be responsible for assisting mechanic with routine maintenance and as well as repairs to pumping equipment as necessary.
· Loads and unloads concrete pump equipment and attachments.
· Complies with safety regulations and precautionary measures by the American Concrete Pumping Association while operating the concrete pump – protects self and others by following work safe procedures.
· Conducts routine maintenance and assist with repairs to the machinery.
· Communicates effectively, is flexible, and discusses and resolves issues.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have valid and clean driver’s license- CDL requires for Boom pump
– Must be Drug Free- required to take pre-employment drug test
· Will teach knowledge of the concrete industry – understanding concrete and mix designs.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Physically fit, punctual, dependable and hardworking
· Willingness to work over-time as required
Wage will be determined at the time of hire.
